Saxophonist, Clarinetist, Professor, Performer

Roberto Stuffo was born in Savona (Italy).  He obtained a Postgraduate Level II Diploma in Saxophone, with honors, as well as a Diploma in Clarinet at the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory in Genoa. Following this, he was awarded a Degree in Saxophone at the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, both in London (UK), as well as a degree in Methodology and Didactics of the Saxophone at the Helvetic Music Institute (S.S.P.M.) in Bellinzona, Switzerland. Finally, he received the prestigious Doctoral Fellowship in Saxophone at "Trinity College" in London (UK).

Since 2007, Roberto has been working both as Music Professor of Clarinet at the Secondary School of Varazze (Cerruti-J. da Varagine) and as Professor of Clarinet and Saxophone at the Music Academy of Savona.
Since 2008 he has collaborated with the Orchestra of the University of Eastern Piedmont, with the saxophone quartet SaxUpo, and with wind orchestra A. Forzano as a saxophone soloist.

Roberto has performed in numerous concerts, in various chamber ensembles, and has earned several awards;

・ "First prize" at the International Competition for Saxophone in Chiavari (Ge) in 2006
・ "First Prize" at the "6th Festival of Young Musicians" Venison (Im) in 2007.
