Is an Italian saxophonist, composer and arranger, graduated in Saxophone, Clarinet and Jazz music, he currently teaches classical and jazz sax holds at the Antonio Scontrino National Conservatory of Music in the city of Trapani (Italy).
In addition to Jazz e Classical music, for many years he is working to the study of traditional Latin American music, especially Tango, Afro-Cuban and Brazilian culture, formed in 1997 the trio "Tango Tres", in 2000 the project "Grupo Candombe" and in 2015 the saxophone quintet "Amerindia Ensemble".

He has recordings 6 CD and 1 DVD on live to his name: Guardia Vieja (1998) with Tango Tres; Grupo Candombe (2001) and Grupo Candombe 2 (2005) with Grupo Candombe; Nostalgia del presente (2011) and Tango Live DVD on live (2013) with Grupo Candombe and the argentine singer Sandra Rehder; Dej? v? (2014) in Duo with the argentine pianist Federico Lechner, Brasil pra mim (2016) with italian clarinetist Gabriele Mirabassi.

Among his compositions are also 2 Suite for soprano saxophone and string quartet, 2 Suite for soprano saxophone and string orchestra, 3 Suite for quintet of saxophones, and also the composition titled “Due Pezzi Brasiliani” for bass clarinet solo, all compositions by Silvio Zalambani are published by Borgatti Musical Editions.

Silvio Zalambani is regularly invited as a teacher Board in masterclasses or as a concert soloist in festivals in Europe and America, especially to Spain at Conservatory of Music of Albacete and Seville, and to Brazil in the USP and UNAERP Universities in Ribeir?o Preto (S?o Paulo) and EMAC-UFG of Goi?nia (Goi?s), also performing as soloist with the USP Philarmonic, Mogiana Band, with multi-instrumentalist Arismar do Espirito Santo and pianist Mario F?res.
With his projects he represented Italy at five of the last editions of the World Tango Summit (Seville-Spain ‘05, Valparaiso-Chile ‘07, Bariloche-Argentine ‘09, Seinajoki-Finland ’11, Zarate-Argentine ‘15), participating among many festivals: 11th World Saxophone Festival (Valencia-Spain '97), 23rd Festival del Caribe - Fiesta del Fuego (Santiago de Cuba and Guantanamo-Cuba ‘03), 11th Metastasio Jazz Festival (Prato?Italy ‘06), EtnoJazz&TasteFest (Milano?Italy ‘06), Ravenna Festival (Ravenna?Italy ‘10), 23rd International Tango Festival (Granada-Spain ’11), 11th and 12th Emilia Romagna Festival (Italy 2011 and '12), 3rd Internacional Tango Festival (Barcelona?Spain ‘13),47th Internacional Festival Musica Nova (Ribeir?o Preto SP-Brazil '13), 1th European Saxophone Congress (Ciudad Real?Spain ’14), 11th Pourpre P?rigord Jazz Festival (Bergerac?France ‘14), 4th Saxophone & Jazz International Festival (Gran Canaria-Spain), 49th Internacional Festival Musica Nova (Ribeir?o Preto SP-Brazil '15).

In Argentine he has performed on live at Argentine National Radio and other important Tango music clubs in Buenos Aires, such as the Torquato Tasso cultural center, El Vesuvio, and the Theatre El Aleph ? Recoleta cultural center, permorming also like soloist with Orchestra Camerata Monte Grande (conducted by Marisol Canessa) and the Orchestra Camerata Almagro (coducted by Pablo Motta).

Silvio Zalambani was interviewed many times by Mr. Gabriel Soria, the vice-president of the Tango National Academy of Buenos Aires for argentinean TV Solo Tango, and also he’s mentioned inside of the Tango’s Dictionary of Catalunya (Casa America Catalunya 2009).

On the Jazz and Classical sides, he has performed with the Siena Jazz Orchestra and with the O.F.P. Orchestra of Bologna (Italy) conducted by Carla Bley and Bruno Tommaso; with Donovan Mixon (guitar teacher at Berklee College of Boston, Massachusetts - USA); and with many Orchestras like Teatro Comunale (Bologna-Italy), Teatro Comunale G. Verdi (Trieste-Italy), Orchestra Citt? di Ferrara (Ferrara-Italy), Teatro Sociale (Rovigo-Italy) , Bacau Filarmonica (Rumania), USP Filarmonica (Brazil), Orchestra of Camerata Gran Canaria (Spain).

In the present, Silvio Zalambani is following to perform with Tango Tres, Grupo Candombe and Amerindia Ensemble and Federico Lechner Duo; moreover is working together with the argentinean singer Sandra Rehder, the Italian clarinetist Gabriele Mirabassi and the Argentinean story-teller Rub?n Andr?s Costanzo.
Since 2012 Silvio Zalambani is the Artistic Director of the festival Fiato al Brasile.
