"In April 2008 I was given the opportunity to tour the Yanagisawa factory in Tokyo, Japan. I had been to other factories in the past but nothing prepared me for just how truly handmade these saxophones are. They were doing everything in the old way, all by hand and all meticulously done from start to finish. It was truly a privilege to see and a learning experience that I will never forget."
